Yesterday, 8:00 a.m.
Realize I’ve lost my cell phone (again). Know it’s somewhere in the house, but can’t locate it, and in a typical “seemed like a good idea at the time,” I shut it off to conserve battery power. So I can’t even phone it.
Yesterday 6:00 p.m.
Leave for class. Stop to fill up truck. Can’t get gas cap to open. Have to drive back home and exchange vehicles (husband phones—borrowed his cell—ten minutes later to say he’s not sure what the problem is. He got the cap off, just fine. Problem? Isn’t it obvious? Me.
Yesterday 7:00 p.m.
Unable to get LCD projector to work. Call in tech support. Realize issue: Forgot to take the lens cap off.
Today 8:00 a.m.
Forgot I left garage door open last night. So, when I hit the car starter and opened the door, I actually shut the door, and treated us all to a brush with carbon monoxide posioning.
Today 9:00 a.m.
Have to buy a new broom. Carrying it out of grocery store. Almost take off my mother-in-law’s head.
Today 2:30 p.m.
Been having migraines the past three days, decide to take a nap, then do some work. Wake up, twist head in odd way (I guess), wrench neck. Have to lie still for an extra hour, until pain subsides.
Some people have “one of those days.” Apparently, I’m having one of those weeks…
