See, this is why writers need other writers in their lives. Just got a manuscript back from my editor, with some serious edits.
Sigh.
I’ve been worrying that I’m overly descriptive. Now, it seems that I’ve gone too much in the opposite direction.
I’ve got loads o’ work ahead of me. And it’s another task on an already full œto-do list.
But thank goodness for [writing] friends who kick me in the butt at the same time they pat me on the head and give me a hug.
Off to make a cuppa, bid goodbye to my bed (have a feeling I won’t be seeing that mattress for a long while), then off to hit the editing ocean.
