Today is the first day back at work and though I’ve managed to get some work done, the month away from writing has”without a doubt”atrophied my writing brain. No word of a lie, I’ve spent more hours (3 to be exact) avoiding work than actually working.
So shameful.
I know it’s about just getting the words on the page and doing right brain stuff, but my right brain is wondering why we aren’t watching Columbo and promising me if I did just one more episode, it would get back to work, honest.
Of course, this is what it promised me yesterday.
